Some key milestones over the past 45 years as a healthcare professional

1975

Qualified as a registered nurse in London specialising in Intensive Care. Worked in London and the USA, and settled in Harpenden to start a family.

2006

Developed an interest in acupuncture and joined the BMAS whilst working closely with GP’s as a community nurse in St Albans.

2009

Awarded a Diploma in Western Medical Acupuncture from the BMAS.

2012

Achieved an MSc in Western Medical Acupuncture from the University in Hertfordshire and accredited status from the BMAS.

Co-authored research into ‘Cost efficiency of nurse led group acupuncture clinics in the NHS (Later published in the BMJ) (White et al 2012)
